Samuel needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Samuel independence - we're $3,000 away.

Samuel lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Ribeirão Preto Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,000.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Samuel could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $2,800
• Fitting and training sessions: $65
• Delivery and set-up: $55
• First-year servicing plan: $80
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
