Samira was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in July. The surgeon at Riyadh General Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $8,500, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $5,050 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Riyadh General Hospital since July. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $8,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Samira struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Samira won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
