After a torn ligament that needs reconstruction, Samir was cleared for spinal decompression surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Samir was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in July. The surgeon at Heliopolis University Hospital recommended spinal decompression surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,700, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,200 short.
my brother has been in and out of Heliopolis University Hospital since July. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without spinal decompression surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Samir struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Samir won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
