Saeed's final semester of a degree in civil engineering in Dallas
A first-generation student, Saeed needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a degree in civil engineering at the Dallas Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a tutor to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $1,950.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Final term tuition: $1,350
• Textbooks and materials: $260
• Exam and lab fees: $340
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you peace, Saeed. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from San Fernando.
stay strong, Saeed. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Dallas.
Sending love, Saeed. Shared this with my family
I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Edinburgh donated after I showed her your page!
