Rylee's acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment fund
Supporting Rylee through acute lymphoblastic leukemia: medication, transport to the Rochester Oncology Institute, and living costs while She can't work.
🇺🇸 Rochester, New York, United States240 views
Rylee was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May. The oncology team at the Rochester Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Rylee is 48, worked as a primary school teacher until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Rochester Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $7,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,550
• Transport to the Rochester Oncology Institute: $510
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $670
• Scans and lab work: $1,870
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
