Ryan served six years; now needs help to get home
Ryan served six years in the air force; $5,250 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.

I served six years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $5,250.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $5,250 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,750
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,550
• Transport to appointments: $550
• Essential household items: $400
Every share and every dollar helps.

So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Sherbrooke.
Wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. Put this on a community board in Rome this morning.
Wishing you the best, Ryan. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Hope things get better soon, Ryan. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
