Sacramento
For six years I have run a flower stall in Sacramento. In April, floodwater took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $2,050 goes: • Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $730 • Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $1,100 • Shop repairs and licensing: $220 Every share and every dollar helps. - Ruby

Updates from Ruby

  1. 10% there. the plan for initial stock: seasonal flowers is now scheduled. Thank you.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($130 in total) the plan for shop repairs and licensing is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
