Rosie's kidney failure: help with the vet bill
A German shepherd named Rosie needs emergency surgery - a $1,700 bill the family can't cover.

Rosie is my German shepherd of thirteen years. On 1 July we rushed to the San Diego Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,700.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $360 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the San Diego Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rosie's recovery.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $760
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $490
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $230
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Stay strong, Beth. Hope you get there. Thinking of San Diego.
Stay strong, Beth. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in San Jose donated after I showed her your page.
Wishing you peace, Beth. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
