Rose's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Help Rose begin the first year of senior school with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇺🇬 Eastern Region, Uganda1,216 views
Rose earned a place in the first year of senior school at Jinja International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $150, which is more than they have.
Rose loves coding and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $150 goes:
• Laptop: $65
• School uniform and shoes: $20
• Textbooks and workbooks: $45
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $20
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Thinking of you, Juma. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Looking forward to the next update. Sent it to 24 people at work. Love from Sacramento.
Hope it all works out. Shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to New York so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Jinja.
So sorry you're going through this, Juma. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
Keep going. This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 24 people at work!
Rooting for you, Juma. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 12 years in hospitality I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
Thanks for sharing this. Study hard! I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
