Romeo needs a powered wheelchair - help us make it happen

Romeo lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Angeles General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Romeo could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
