Rodrigo's final semester of an accounting degree in Bogotá

Rodrigo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Bogotá Polytechnic, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,450. The registrar has said Rodrigo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rodrigo has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rodrigo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Rodrigo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
