Roberto was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The oncology team at Tijuana Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Roberto is 52, worked as a farmer until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tijuana Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
