Rita needs display cabinets and a cooler to reopen a flower stall
Rita has run a flower stall for fifteen years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $850 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a flower stall in Latina. In August, a long illness and repossession took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $850 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $180
• Shop repairs and licensing: $260
• Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $410
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Praying for you, Rita. Hope you make a strong comeback. After 24 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Latina.
Rooting for you, Rita. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Austin this morning!
