Rina's laparoscopic endometriosis surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a herniated spinal disc, Rina was cleared for laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Rina was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in February. The surgeon at Ahmedabad Orthopedic Institute recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,250, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $950 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Ahmedabad Orthopedic Institute since February. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Rina struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Rina won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $950 goes:
• Hospital stay (5 nights): $450
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $350
• Post-operative medication: $50
• Physiotherapy sessions: $100
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
