Riley needs my ride-share car repaired to get back to work in Bakersfield

Riley drives for a living in Bakersfield, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 7 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 7 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,700. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,700 goes: • fuel pump replacement (parts): $1,200 • Labor charges: $190 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $145 • Towing and inspection: $165 Thanks for being kind about this.
