Rides to dialysis three times a week for Kathleen in Makati

A rota of drivers to the Makati Kidney Centre would keep Kathleen on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Kathleen has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Makati Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Kathleen can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 18 km each way. Kathleen is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
