Rides to dialysis three times a week for Ezra in Vancouver
Could you drive Ezra to Vancouver General Hospital on Friday? A rota of 3 drivers is forming.
🇺🇸 Vancouver, Washington, United States1,197 views
Ezra has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to Vancouver General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Ezra can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 10 km each way.
Ezra is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thank you so much.

So sorry you're going through this. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. After 8 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
