Rides to dialysis three times a week for Dhanalakshmi in Thrissur
Could you drive Dhanalakshmi to the Thrissur Dialysis Unit on Friday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.

Dhanalakshmi has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Thrissur Dialysis Unit alone. After an eyesight problem, Dhanalakshmi can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 30 km each way.
Dhanalakshmi is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thanks for sharing this, Mythili. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. It's not much but it's yours. Blessings.
Praying for you. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Karachi.
Stay strong, Mythili. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care!
Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Dublin this morning
Sending strength, Mythili. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Thinking of Thrissur.
