Rides to dialysis three times a week for Christian in Manila
A rota of drivers to Manila Regional Medical Center would keep Christian on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
šµš Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines261 views
Christian has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Manila Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Christian can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 33 km each way.
Christian is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
