Rides to dialysis three times a week for Chinedu in Ikeja

A rota of drivers to Ikeja General Hospital would keep Chinedu on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Chinedu has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Ikeja General Hospital alone. After an eyesight problem, Chinedu can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 31 km each way. Chinedu is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
