Rick's colon cancer treatment fund
6 rounds of treatment are planned at the Breda Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Rick was diagnosed with colon cancer in June. The oncology team at the Breda Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Rick is 26, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Breda Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Household costs while unable to work: $910
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $360
• Transport to the Breda Oncology Institute: $430
I hope life is good to you.
