Richard's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled knee replacement surgery in December is out of reach without help covering $650 of the cost.

Richard was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Tema Regional Medical Center recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $930, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $650 short.
my husband has been in and out of Tema Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $930 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Richard struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Richard won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $650 goes:
• Travel and lodging for the family: $45
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $55
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $500
• Post-operative medication: $50
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope things get better soon, Theresa. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
Wishing you the best, Theresa. Hope the doctors have good news. God bless.
gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Tema
