Ricardo's septoplasty can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Ricardo was diagnosed with an aortic valve defect in March. The surgeon at Granada University Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,250, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $3,950 short.
my father has been in and out of Granada University Hospital since March. The doctors say an aortic valve defect will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ricardo struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. During that time Ricardo won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
