My family left Venezuela 14 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Bogra. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in May.
I was a farmer in Venezuela, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $250 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $40
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $40
• Language classes and bus passes: $25
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $145
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Sabina. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Bogra.
