Resettlement support for 7 people arriving in Üsküdar
Help a family of 6 start their new life in Üsküdar: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Venezuela 7 months ago after our home was destroyed. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Üsküdar. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in December.
I was a farmer in Venezuela, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Üsküdar Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $950 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $340
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $260
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $130
• Language classes and bus passes: $165
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $55
Thank you so much.

Sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope December is when things finally get easier
It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 3 people at work. Greetings from Bekasi.

Praying for you. Your post was clear and honest. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Üsküdar.
Praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to St. Petersburg so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Hang in there. I hope things turn around soon. I went through something like this 4 years ago and strangers helped me out.
