Rawalpindi
My family left Ethiopia 6 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Rawalpindi. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in May. I was a pharmacist in Ethiopia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $500 goes: • Winter clothing and school supplies: $100 • Rent deposit and first month: $175 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $25 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $200 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Kamran

I was going through a tough time and this person's support was invaluable. They didn't judge, just helped. That kind of genuine compassion is rare these days.

Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about winter clothing and school supplies, advice is welcome too. Thanks for looking so closely.
