Resettlement support for 7 people arriving in Nakuru
The Tesfaye family are rebuilding in Nakuru after leaving Syria; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Syria 10 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Nakuru. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in August.
I was a teacher in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $700 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $270
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $195
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $135
• Language classes and bus passes: $50
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $50
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
