Resettlement support for 6 people arriving in Móstoles
Help a family of 7 start their new life in Móstoles: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left the Democratic Republic of Congo 6 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Móstoles. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in May.
I was a mechanic in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,550
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $185
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $920
• Language classes and bus passes: $345
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Stay strong, Ángel. Shared this with my family. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Sending love. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in São Paulo this morning. Take care
