Resettlement support for 6 people arriving in Khulna
Help a family of 3 start their new life in Khulna: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Iraq 10 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Khulna. We're a family of eight and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in August.
I was a mechanic in Iraq, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $400 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $220
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $75
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $25
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $80
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong, Shakil. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Khulna
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 12 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
Hang in there, Shakil. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Khulna
good luck, Shakil. This could happen to any of us.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless
