Resettlement support for 5 people arriving in Limoges

After fleeing Ukraine, the Petrenko family has arrived in Limoges with little more than their documents. They need help with a deposit, furniture and the first months.

Limoges
My family left Ukraine 8 months ago after we could no longer live safely. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Limoges. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in December. I was a pharmacist in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. Funds are managed by the Limoges Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf. Where the $1,050 goes: • Winter clothing and school supplies: $670 • Language classes and bus passes: $230 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $150 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Charlotte

        • Hope it all works out, Charlotte. Your post was clear and honest. After 16 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Limoges.
