Nuremberg
My family left Venezuela 14 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Nuremberg. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in October. I was a nurse in Venezuela, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $4,500 goes: โ€ข Rent deposit and first month: $1,950 โ€ข Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,400 โ€ข Winter clothing and school supplies: $360 โ€ข Language classes and bus passes: $590 โ€ข Phone and internet for school and job search: $200 Thanks for reading all this.
