Resettlement support for 4 people arriving in Cardiff
The Bakr family are rebuilding in Cardiff after leaving Syria; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Syria 7 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Cardiff. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in October.
I was a farmer in Syria, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Cardiff Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,750
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $690
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $400
• Language classes and bus passes: $340
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $170
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
