Renata was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in December. The oncology team at Warsaw Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Renata is 35, worked as a shop owner until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Warsaw Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,600 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,400 • Scans and lab work: $270 • Transport to Warsaw Cancer Centre: $240 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $300 • Household costs while unable to work: $390 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
