Rekha's acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment fund

Rekha was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June. The oncology team at Hubballi Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Rekha is 36, worked as a bus conductor until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hubballi Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
