Reiko's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Reiko won a place at the Setagaya Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Reiko earned a place in the first year of senior school at the Setagaya Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $400, which is more than they have.
Reiko loves graphic design and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $400 goes:
• Textbooks and workbooks: $240
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $40
• School uniform and shoes: $120
Thank you for reading my story.

Thinking of you, Tomoya. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Peoria.
Hope it all works out, Tomoya. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Soweto donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Setagaya
Thinking of you, Tomoya. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
Hope things get better soon. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. It's not much but it's yours!
Thanks for sharing this. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Setagaya
