Regina needs a lift to San Antonio Regional Medical Center - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to San Antonio Regional Medical Center would keep Regina on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Regina has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to San Antonio Regional Medical Center alone. After a foot amputation, Regina can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 31 km each way. Regina is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
