I coordinate donations at the Maple Mosque in Nakuru. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Nakuru, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Maple Mosque on Saturday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Maple Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

wishing you the best. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Rio de Janeiro so I could bring a meal.
rooting for you, Dorcas. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
