The storm damaged 51 homes in the Greenfield district. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The storm hit the Greenfield district on 29 January. My home was one of 51 damaged, and 11 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $1,100
• Food parcels for displaced families: $940
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,010
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Hakan
Bedding, blankets and mattresses is $1,100 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Happy to explain more.
Best of luck. Great idea, hope you get there. Thinking of Dortmund.
sending good thoughts. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Dortmund.
