Rebuilding after the heatwave: the Greenfield district needs your help
Neighbors in the Greenfield district are rebuilding after the heatwave; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The heatwave hit the Greenfield district on 13 April. My home was one of 56 damaged, and 8 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $800 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $360
• Clean water and purification supplies: $180
• Roofing sheets and timber: $260
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Nitin.
It's all in the list in the story. tools and labor for repairs is the big one at $360, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. After 11 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
