Rebuilding after the flood: the Greenfield district needs your help
After the flood, families in the Greenfield district need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the Greenfield district on 21 August. My home was one of 65 damaged, and 3 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $650 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $360
• Clean water and purification supplies: $115
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $175
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thinking of you and your family. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. We're a small family in 6th of October City but we're thinking of you. Greetings from 6th of October City.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Suresh
Thinking of you and your family, Suresh. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
Sending love, Suresh. More neighborhoods should do this. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings
