The earthquake hit Greenfield village on 22 November. My home was one of 18 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall. The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming. Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before. We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy. We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates. Where the $5,100 goes: • Roofing sheets and timber: $1,200 • Clean water and purification supplies: $690 • Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $410 • Food parcels for displaced families: $1,200 • Tools and labor for repairs: $1,600 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

    • is there anything that isn't money that would help Stefania?

      • Thank you. If you're in Rome I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Thanks, that means a lot.

thinking of you, Stefania. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Take care.

      • how is Stefania doing now?

        • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Love from Cần Thơ

          • Sending good thoughts, Stefania. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

            • Rooting for you. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best!
