Rebecca needs a stair-climbing aid - help us make it happen
A stair-climbing aid would give Rebecca independence - we're $1,250 away.

Rebecca lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at the Accra Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Rebecca could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $55
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($41 in total) I made the first payment toward delivery and set-up. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
