Raymond wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Raymond cannot afford the care He needs after the death of his spouse; we are asking for $750.

I'm caring for my father, who's 79. After the death of his spouse Raymond can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Raymond desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Raymond worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $750 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $570
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $45
• Medication and prescriptions: $135
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you the best, Felicia. This could happen to any of us. After 28 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Accra.
Hope the doctors have good news. Greetings from Dallas.
Rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from London
Keep going, Felicia. Shared it with a few friends. Sent it to 23 people at work.
