Rashidi's cervical cancer treatment fund

Rashidi was diagnosed with cervical cancer in July. The oncology team at the Kampala Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Rashidi is 34, worked as a nurse until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kampala Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
