Rashed's thyroid cancer treatment fund
Supporting Rashed through thyroid cancer: medication, transport to New Delhi University Hospital, and living costs while He can't work.
Anywhere in the world524 views
Rashed was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at New Delhi University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Rashed is 48, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to New Delhi University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $650 goes:
• Transport to New Delhi University Hospital: $125
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
• Scans and lab work: $205
Thanks for reading all this.
