Ramon is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ramon was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in October. The oncology team at Calamba University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Ramon is 27, worked as a bus conductor until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Calamba University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $900 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $490
• Scans and lab work: $125
• Transport to Calamba University Hospital: $80
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $85
• Household costs while unable to work: $120
