Could you drive Ramón to the Buenos Aires Dialysis Unit on Tuesday? A rota of 6 drivers is forming.

Ramón has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Buenos Aires Dialysis Unit alone. After a foot amputation, Ramón can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 34 km each way. Ramón is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

  • Hang in there, Gonzalo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 16 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings!
