I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $250. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $250 goes:
• gearbox replacement (parts): $200
• Labor charges: $45
• Towing and inspection: $5

Hope the shop reopens soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless
Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from Quetta
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Sent it to 35 people at work. Blessings.

Thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 10 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
sending love. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Cork.
