Rakib's my school-run minibus is Rakib's only source of income and needs a suspension replacement costing $1,650.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 7 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,650. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,650 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $1,400
• Towing and inspection: $115
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $135
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you, Rakib. Small businesses are the heart of London. Hope you're open again soon. After 18 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
hope things get better soon. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 16 year old who wants to send good wishes too

Keep going, Rakib. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Bahir Dar so I could bring a meal. Blessings
