Rajkot cyclone relief - the Northside neighborhood
Neighbors in the Northside neighborhood are rebuilding after the cyclone; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The cyclone hit the Northside neighborhood on 21 September. My home was one of 60 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $750 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $110
• Food parcels for displaced families: $270
• Tools and labor for repairs: $290
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $80
Every share and every dollar helps.

Wishing you the best, Vihaan. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. God bless.
